I create large-scale oil paintings that combine texture and open spaces to explore questions of identity and our relationship with the present. My work is made for people and communities with complex, diverse, hybrid, or multicultural identities, with the aim of creating spaces for connection, visibility, and representation where different experiences can be seen and shared.
